This growth is due in part to the Town's central location in the Triangle Park near Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Research Triangle Park, and serviced by Interstate 40 and Highways 54 and 55. Construction has begun on an outer loop expressway around the City of Raleigh. In the future, this expressway will pass through the northern portion of the Town, with two exits located within the Town's corporate limits. Over the years, the Town has become a major employment center, with a growing residential community. Morrisville has it all, live, work, and play all in the "Heart of the Triangle Park".
